This is a matched pair of 550 High Performance motors for Kid Trax Dodge Ram Pickups, Chargers, and Land Rover Defenders. Also for Kid Trax Firetrucks that use a 19 tooth pinion on the motors. Included is 2 Hardened Steel First Gears and 4 sealed Ball Bearings.
Just unbolt your old motor and bolt in the new one. Pull out the plastic first gear and slid the new gear & bearings in. These motors will
add significant speed over stock motors. With each pair you get:
* Torque Sleeves around each motor to add more low-end power.
* Built-in Cooling Fans.
* Quick change motor wires.
* Hardened steel pinion gears.
* Hardened steel first gears with 2 ball bearings for each gear.
* Bendable motor wire tabs so as not to break as easy as stock ones.

Motors are warrantied for up to 18 volts. Lithium batteries require using our Soft Start Low Voltage Lithium Module. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to add the 550 Cooling Fan Kit if you do run 18 volts. Still helpful for 12 volt vehicles too.

Love the motors

Added the 18v to my grandson toy and the stock motors didn't last long. Thought it was made by kidtraxx so i bought motors and gears. Only could use motors so saving the gears to swap in a gearbox that will work later. After breaking in the motors i let my grandson have a go. WOW it boogies down the road now. Very happy

Great Product, Great Experience

I purchased the Stage II Kid Trax kit for my daughter's VW Beetle. The website showed that they were due in June and I ordered in May, so I expected to wait a little bit. The order shipped about when I expected it to.

The kit was very easy to install from the instructions and the installation video on the website. They make it easy for people who don't have a lot of electrical materials by providing the quick connector for the wires between motors and battery.

Motors worked right away. I followed the break-in instructions which were fairly simple. We haven't had a chance to try the car out with my daughter yet, but based on moving it around the yard empty, it seems like there will be a decent performance upgrade.

Great experience overall! Will likely be buying a 24V upgrade kit in the future.

Installed these per the directions with no issues. Broke in motors per directions - definitely stronger and a little quicker than stock. My 4 year old is thrilled

Definitely a difference!

These are faster than stock even with the stock battery. I think the battery doesn’t last as long of course but going to upgrade to 18v conversion in a few anyway. Great product and easy install.
