These cars are all about speed. The Mustang is capable of being the fastest 2 seater Power Wheels. Realistic styling and chrome badging make it look like the real thing. Dashboard LEDS flash when the pretend radio is activated. Other features include a cup holder, adjustable seat, and battery charge indicator. Mustangs are for the street so if you're looking for yard or off-road use consider starting with a different vehicle before investing in modifications.

Upgrade Options

These cars are all about speed. The C7, McQueen, and Porsche are capable of being the fastest single seater ride-ons and the Mustangs and the fastest 2 seater. The'y're for the street so if your looking for yard or off-road use consider starting with a different vehicle before investing in modifications. If your Corvette or Porsche is only a 6 volt you'll need to put in our Electronic Speed Control system to get your wiring set for a 2 motor/gearbox system. Here's some of our techs' recommendations based on the happy responses we've had from customers and the budget you've got to work with. (All 4 vehicles use the same Staged Kits). Make sure your Mustang and McQueen are made by Power Wheels as there are other manufacturers.

1. Stage I Kit - So your kid blew a motor you want to spend just a little more to get a little more out of the car. The Stage I Kit is exactly that. You'll get a 10-15% speed gain and have all new motors start with. If your stock battery is worn it may pop the breaker, so be prepared to replace it if needed with our longer run time 12v that has a higher amp fuse.

2. Stage III Kit, 18v Battery Conversion, and Ride-On Speed Control - This combination will give you about 60% more speed and more run time. This is the most speed you can add to the car without more major work to fit 24v batteries. Some folks start with just the 18v Conversion Kit, use that til the motors die, then do the Stage III upgrade. The optional Speed Control will give you a variable throttle and brake pedal system just like a real car. Plus no more wheel spin.

3. Stage IV or V Kit, 24v Battery Conversion, and Ride-On Speed Control - Max it out! More then double the speed of your car with this combination kit. If your model doesn't have enough room in the battery compartment for the 24v pack (measurements in the product description) you can easily relocate the batteries under the seat with our Battery Extension Cord. The Drift Kit is for when you want the wheels to spin and spin and spin just like the drift pro's! The optional Speed Control will give you a variable throttle and brake pedal system just like a real car. Plus no more wheel spin.

We recommend a Brake Reduction Module with any speed upgrade unless you have hills to contend with or the Ride-On Speed Control.
