Every time your kid lets off the throttle the car slams to a halt, bashing their head into the windshield and putting unnecessary strain on the gears. That's because of an electrical braking built into each Power Wheels, and as you increase voltage the effect gets stronger.

This simple addition greatly reduces that braking. It goes in-line with your existing wiring.

What you get

• Smoother stops. The car coasts about 10 ft instead of stopping dead.

Common questions

What cars does this work with?
Power Wheels brand cars that started as 12v and do not say "Smart Drive." For 12v Kid Trax cars (except the lawn mower) and Peg Perego cars, check that your foot pedal wiring matches what we show in the pictures.

Does it work with the Lithium Module?
Yes.

Does it work with the Titan or the v2.0 Speed Controller?
No. The Brake Reduction Module is NOT compatible with cars that have an electronic speed control, including ours.

Is it OK if my kid drives on hills?
We don't recommend it where the car is driven on hills.
