The First Gear is the weakest link in a Roll Play Silverado Gearcase. This is the solution. We designed this gear with a leading American gear manufacturing company to be so strong we offer a Lifetime Warranty* on it. The gear is made from one solid piece of stock, heat treated, and has holes to cut weight. The steel ball bearings reduce friction, heat, and resistance making for the most efficient gear possible.
You must have the same gearcase as the one pictured for the steel gear to fit.
To install this gear just remove your plastic first gear and put the steel one in place with a ball bearing (provided) on each side. Will NOT work with your stock motor.
Will NOT work with stock motors... it will tear up their pinion gears. Pinion gears must be made of hardened steel. See pinions linked on this page for use with aftermarket motors. If you don't have pinions or aftermarket motors then you'd be better to look at our Staged Roll Play Silverado kits which come with everything.
