The Phoenix 2.0 gearbox is by far the most durable and lowest friction gearbox made to replace the stock Power Wheels 7R gearbox. The gearcase material is less flexible, keeping gear mesh true under torque. The grease channels in the housing keep the gears and shafts cool to prevent meltdowns. We use our proven race grease in all Phoenix gearboxes (grease color can vary). The gears are made of a much denser nylon filament for the most durability ever. The final drive gear runs on a massive ball bearing to allow more speed and heavier weight loads in your powerwheels. Adding the optional hardened steel first and second gears that runs on ball bearings will maximize your durability and is recommended for 24v use!

If you have the older Phoenix gearboxes you can transfer your motors and steel gears directly into the Phoenix 2.0!

The hardened steel first gear option can only be used if you are using our motors with 15 tooth hardened steel pinions. All other pinions will be destroyed.
You can also use our Stage V gears in this gearbox which will give you the highest top speed option (22 tooth pinion, 66 tooth first gear).

The nylon first gear is compatible with standard and hardened steel 15 tooth pinion gears including those on factory stock motors.

This gearbox works in all Power Wheels cars that came with #7 or 75 gearboxes including the Arctic Cat, Mustang, Porsche GT3, C7 Corvette, Jeep Wrangler, Escalade, ATV & Kawasaki Quads, Dune Racer, Baja Extreme, Hot Wheels Racer, Baja Trailster, and Barbie Camper.
