The original Power Wheels B7659-9419D Steering linkage used on Jeep Wranglers produced from the 80's til about 2010 all used this linkage which is discontinued. So MLToys has developed a replacement one that is even stronger. The hollowed out plastic ends (which are the parts that fail) have been replaced with a heavier solid plastic.
Simply cut off the stock rivet and replace with the new ends. A stainless steel shoulder screw, 2 washers, and lock nut are included with each end. Put the washers on both side of the new ends as pictured.
Be sure to order replacement cap nuts or re-usable wheel collars to hold the wheels on as needed (4 needed per car).
This kit is NOT for newer Power Wheels Jeep Wrangers using BCK85-2659 tires. Those models use CBG65-9199. Not for any Jeep Wrangler not made by Power Wheels either.
