Introducing the MLToys Electronic Speed Control. This kit is designed specifically for ride-on cars as an easy-install plug-n-play solution to give a more realistic driving feel and allow you to upgrade the speed in any brand of ride-on car! Kit includes:

- Variable Speed Throttle Pedal - The more you push the more you get. Just like a real car!
- Variable Brake Pedal- The more you push the more you get. Just like a real car!
- Runs on 18v Lithium power tool battery, or 18v or 24v SLA Batteries (select when you purchase)
- Works with all 550 and 775 motors
- Can be put into ANY* brand of ride-on car
- Has a separate output for your 12v LED lights
- Built-in re-settable circuit breaker
- Cooling fans
- Power Switch for lights and fans
- Automatic Safety Brake - If your child doesn't apply the brake it will automatically apply for their safety.

This kit comes with everything you need to convert ANY* brand of ride-on toy running 18-24v batteries and two 550 or 775 motors (make sure your motors are designed for the voltage you select).

Installs with 6 screws, attach the motor wires, attach the battery connector, and GO! No soldering. Most customers install it in under an hour.

Lithium batteries usually have a much lower amperage rating then an SLA battery. Stock Power Wheels batteries are 9.5amps. The lower your amperage the less run time you'll get. Plus increasing voltage reduces run time. We still prefer SLA batteries for kids to get the most fun out of ride-ons for this reason. Running 2 lithium batteries in parallel may overpower the module from the increased discharge rating and is not warrantied. Do not use batteries with variable voltage.

*Not recommended for use with the Bravo Monster Jam Grave Digger or any vehicle/driver total over 160lbs. ESC is not Waterproof.

Solved my cut out issue - Makes The Car Amazing!

First off, it really is a great robust system. We have around 20ish hours on it. We usually do 1-2 hour outings. I can say it holds up.

My two cents on this, if anyone cares are that I think the wiring could be more adaptable, meaning easy to extend or to disconnect components.

If you are anal about wiring showing and things looking original, then you should be prepared to do some splicing. There isn't a way to unplug things easily like the brake pedal, gas pedal, or on off switch in order to run the wires through openings. So I think you need to at least be comfortable with splicing things to make this installation look good.

All that said, I would buy this again. We are running 550 motors rated at 30,000 rpms and the car moves to say the least.

Let's just start with the ease of install this thing went smoother than I believe it would everything came with quick connectors that made it very easy to change out anything I wanted to took me about 30 minutes to get the car up and running from a previous build I did that made an RC My daughter absolutely loves it has more than enough power running off of an M18 Milwaukee battery your Low voltage protection works great . Would highly recommend and will be buying gear upgrades later thank you very much second time I purchase from guys and everything's been awesome

Love the 18V runtime!

Easy to install. Kid loves the 18V runtime along with two-pedal operation.

I would be a fan of losing or extending the "runaway car" feature and have it coast for significantly longer with no gas or brake applied.

Great fun though! Motivated to try a 24V setup next summer.

Excellent product

I have replaced the gears in my sons F-150 power wheel three times now and finally decided to purchase the variable speed controller this time. The difference is astounding. My son has driven gas powered side by sides and go karts and with the two pedal system this comes with, it was very similar to the feel of those. I can already tell he will make this hopefully last set of gears last much longer.
