Stock gas pedal plunger switches are only for 12 volt use. This footswitch is made by MLToys for Peg Perego and Power Wheels brand vehicles as a direct-fit upgrade. It is designed for 6-24v use.

Make sure the connector under your switch isn't corroded. If it is then be sure to get new connectors.

If using lithium power tool batteries you will need to use our Lithium Module to keep the high discharge rating of the lithium chemistry from damaging this switch as well as other components in the car.

Not for use in cars that have an electronic speed control or circuit board controller.
