Some ride-ons come with a low amperage self-resetting breaker. When modifying motors or batteries we recommend changing it out for this 40 amp one. For vehicles that have fuses we do not recommend replacing them with this.
If you have made any non-MLToys modifications to your car please reach out to our tech support first to check compatibility. Just like when modifying a real car, modifying a Power Wheels voids all warranties.
MLToys bears no responsibility for damage to vehicle, persons, or property incurred by modifying a vehicle. Be Smart, Be Safe, and Have Fun!
It does the job it's supposed to do, but need better connectors
It does the job it's supposed to do. The only down side is the connectors are a bit thinner than I expected and have plastic insulation instead of heat shrinks, but you can always just change the connectors to better quality ones.

Works but beware
I installed this on my sons power wheels and it works great. Only downside is that when it does what it is designed to do (break the circuit) it resets immediately. My son being 5 years old didnt know what the power wheels stopped and kept his foot on the pedal and burned out the motor that was causing the fuse to break in the first place.
