Description

This is the Stage II Motor/Gearbox kit for all Powerwheels Ford F150's and Raptors that are two-seaters. The Stage II kit includes Lightened Hardened Steel First Gears with Ball Bearings for added gearbox durability. Heat Sinks are added to our Performance 550 motors to help handle additional heat loads created by 18 volts use. These gearboxes have been built using our Race Grease to reduce friction and motor temps. At 18 volts this kits has a higher top end then the Stage III or IV kits but not as much off-road power or long term durability. Kit includes:

- 2 Modified 550 motors pre-installed in gearboxes.
* Torque sleeves on both motors.
* Spade Connectors for quick wire installation. Makes motors/gearboxes easy to take in and out of vehicle.
- Heat sinks added to both motors for cooler temps and longer run times.
- Hardened Steel First Gears running on 2 ball bearings each.
- Hardened Steel Pinion Gears.
- Race Grease for even more top speed.
- Gearboxes are the newest 7R high strength design.
- Cap nut to re-assemble vehicle (if required on your model).
- Installation and Break-in Instructions.

Motors are safe for up to 18 volts. We strongly recommend using Metal First Gears when running 18 volts or more.

5 of 5 Get this upgrade! July 22, 2020
Reviewer: Kyle from La Mesa, CA United States
My sons F-150 Raptor power wheels gears burned up and aside from it not working well (angry kid) it made a horrible, loud clicking noise (angry neighbors). This upgrade was a breeze to install and the little truck is a beast now. The 18v battery upgrade I did, which likely killed the original gear boxes, combined with this high quality upgrade has made for quite the fun father/son project. Worth every penny!

Easy install and worked like a charm. On thing I would suggest WL toys do is mark red and black poles of the new motors. Easy to figure you though.

5 of 5 Awesome upgrade September 18, 2016
Reviewer: Nathan Dudek from Sterling Heights, MI United States
Bought a set of these for my son's raptor after the stock motors gave out  he loves it whether using 12v or 18v these upgrades are awesome more speed more torque only down fall I can see imma have to replace the drive tires as my son's like to power slide on the cement walk way it's pretty funny to watch but I can see the plastic tires wearing down pretty fast but is a good problem to have if ya ask me kinda looking forward to engineering some real tires for it anyway
