Description

This is the Stage II Performance Motor/Gear kit for all new Power Wheels Quads using 7R gearboxes. It has the fastest 550 motors combined with the most durable gears. Easy to install... we've never had a customer that couldn't complete it! Kit includes:
- 2 Modified motors. The fastest 550's made for ride-ons anywhere.
- Motors have Internal Cooling Fans
- Torque sleeves on both motors for more low end power.
- Quick change motor connectors. Makes motors/gearboxes easy to take in and out of vehicle.
- Bendable motor wire tabs so as not to break as easy as stock ones.
- Hardened Steel First Gears running on 2 ball bearings each.
- Hardened Steel Pinion Gears.
- Race Grease for even more top speed.
- Written and Video Installation and Break-in Instructions.

Motors are warrantied for up to 12 volts of SLA batteries and are often used with 18 volts (not warrantied). It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to add the 550 Cooling Fan Kit if you do run 18 volts. Still helpful for 12 volt vehicles too. If you're running lithium batteries you will need to use the Soft Start Low Voltage Lithium Module. We strongly recommend using our Metal First Gears when running 18 volts or more.

Please pick a pinion gear size to match the size attached to your stock motor. (Stock pinions are not re-usable)

Required for assembly: Phillips and Standard Screwdriver, wire cutters/strippers, 120-150 grit sand paper, power drill, cookies.

Just like when modifying a real car, modifying a Power Wheels voids all warranties. If you have made any non-MLToys modifications to your car you should reach out to our tech support first to check compatibility. 5 of 5 Stage II Kit April 25, 2022
Reviewer: Kris Baker from East Peoria, IL United States
Ordered the kit with motors, gears, heat sinks, and race grease. Original package was missing some the gears and hardened steel gears. Contacted them and they messaged back quickly and said they must of accidentally sent the stage I kit. They sent my missing parts promptly and I received them quickly. Can’t be happier with the service.

5 of 5 Stage11 speed motors with metal gears in gear box October 10, 2017
Reviewer: Matthew Graham from Downey, CA United States
This is a absolute must if you are looking for reliability outta your power wheel when converting to 18 volt. Way more speed and torq. Honestly, 24 volt would be a waiste because you would non stop be buying tires. And if you do the whole bicycle tire thing then you mine as well buy a lil quad or dirtbike. The plastic tires are a major factor to the power wheel being a toy. 18 volt is crazy awesome for any kid 3-5 years of age.
